He was left holding a $10,000 replacement bill and a $1,500 claim check. The depreciated value was $2,500, less his $1,000 deductible. An unexpected $8,500 bill almost ruined him.
That's the trap: roof age quietly erodes your coverage, and you find out on claim day. Protecting the roof earlier, with paper to prove its condition, is the whole point of what we do.
